Because it was a dire emergency and the citizens of the United States needed to be protected, on January 27, 2017, Trumpery signed Executive Order 13769, titled Protecting the Nation from Foreign Terrorist Entry into the United States.  The order was temporary and was to be in effect for ninety days.

That was over one hundred fifty days ago, and during that time, not one terrorist form Iraq, Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen entered the United States and carried out a terrorist attack.

I thought it was an emergency?  dunno I thought we were gonna be hit with terrorist attacks left and right?  dunno

Yesterday, the Supreme Court said Trumpery's 90-day ban can be enforced pending arguments scheduled for October as long as those visitors lack a “credible claim of a bona fide relationship with a person or entity in the United States.”

Republican, Tea Party types are dancing in the streets, and laughing at the Dems for their "Uge" loss.  You see, with them it's really not about making the country safer, it's about winning the argument.

So what does yesterday's Supreme Court's ruling actually do?

Not much.

Few people come to the U.S. from the affected countries without a "bona fide relationship". Refugees can travel to the U.S. if they demonstrate those connections — contrary to the part of Trumpery’s executive order suspending the nation’s refugee program.

Republican, Tea Party types are claiming a victory even though we are not even close to Trumpery's campaign promise of a ""total and complete" ban on Muslims entering the United States."
