What's good for the goose is good for the gander

Those obstructionist Democrats
By Mary Jane Newell - November 23, 20172

This is in response to Ellen Field (letter, Nov. 21) and the obstructionist Democrats.

Democrats are against everything Donald Trumpery is trying and doing for this country.

I can’t imagine the outrage from the left if President Barack Obama had been treated like that. No president in history has ever been subjected to the hate that President Trumpery has — from members of his campaign being wiretapped during his run for the presidency to the hate-filled threats daily to his family and himself.

Obamacare is a joke. Insurance with a $5,000 to $6,000 deductible is not very good insurance. It was never implemented to take care of the people; it was a way to control people. The Republicans’ proposed tax bill will do away with the penalty for no insurance that many people, unable to afford Obamacare, have to pay now. It will give small businesses a big tax break. Small businesses are the backbone of this country. It will double the personal deduction, giving the working man a break. And it will return the Medicaid funds that Obama robbed from Medicare.

Democrats of today are socialists. They want the government to take over everything and rule the people. This attack on the Republicans’ tax cut plan is just another campaign of lies and threats. That is all the Democrats have left.

And Sen. Susan Collins needs to remember who elected her.

Mary Jane Newell has a very short memory.

Mitch McConnell, Oct. 23, 2010: The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president.

Mitch McConnell, Nov. 4, 2010: Over the past week, some have said it was indelicate of me to suggest that our top political priority over the next two years should be to deny President Obama a second term in office. But the fact is, if our primary legislative goals are to repeal and replace the health spending bill; to end the bailouts; cut spending; and shrink the size and scope of government, the only way to do all these things is to put someone in the White House who won’t veto any of these things. We can hope the President will start listening to the electorate after Tuesday’s election. But we can’t plan on it.

With regard to the wiretap...

TRUMPERY'S CLAIM THAT OBAMA WIRETAPPED HIS CAMPAIGN IS FALSE: U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE
BY NINA BURLEIGH ON 9/2/17 AT 12:49 PM

In a stunning filing last night, the (Trumpery) Department of Justice stated in a court case that neither the FBI nor its National Security Division ever wiretapped Trumpery Tower, contradicting a bombshell claim President Trumpery made in a series of early morning tweets on March 4.

The document is the first time the Department of Justice has officially denied the substance of the Tweets. Former FBI Director James Comey had already denied that the FBI ever wiretapped Trump.

“Both FBI and NSD confirm that they have no records related to wiretaps as described by the March 4, 2017 tweets.” the filing states.

With regard to the hate?

Here's a small sample from her racist, Republican, Trumpery friends...

I'm sure these make Mary Jane proud.

A few more from the Mary Jane Newell crowd. Being lilly white, ignorant and from the north, I doubt she gets the significance.

This one's from a Trumpery supporter in Detroit.

I think I see Mary Jane in the back.
