And she has the audacity to put in print for the whole world to see that she "has no vendettas" against anyone. (Hmmmm, NOT Jolene? NOT Steve? NOT Rosie?) Delusional is a word that comes to mind.

Delusional is not the word I would choose. Obsessive is better:
b: excessive often to an unreasonable degree (Webster's)

Vendetta is good: 2 : an often prolonged series of retaliatory, vengeful, or hostile acts or exchange of such acts ;

as is vindictive: 1 a: disposed to seek revenge : vengeful b: intended for or involving revenge
2: intended to cause anguish or hurt : spiteful

Okay....I confess: I am NOT Jolene. But JSN sent this to me anyway:

Unlike you Jolene, I donít really care what impact your moves have had on my life. I couldnít be happier right now. Everything you did to me has actually helped me. And, I thank you for that. I have a very rich life because of you and Steve. I learned early on in my career how corrupt and vicious the players are and I love being Jane Citizen. Iím not going anywhere and I will continue to expose you for the person you really are. Give up all the fake volunteering efforts and the ďIím the hostess for WVACĒ stupid programs and go somewhere with your loving husband, like the Sandles Resort for couples. You are going to die of cancer if you keep all this anger pent up inside. You need to take care of yourself. I noticed Steve was looking like crap lately, too. A little too much drinking, eating, and high blood pressure donít help, do they? In the end, you will be the one known for hurting Rumfordís efforts because I will continue to expose you. I have nothing to lose. I am an aspiring author and I can work out of my home for the rest of my awesome life. And, I can continue as a citizen fighting corrupt politicians, the union entrenched Democratic Party that is ruining our State, and people like you who are in it for themselves and their buddies. This is so therapeutic. I actually like writing back and forth with you Jolene. Make sure and give my love to Rosie and Steve.

I, dr, asked what I had ever done to her. Her reply:

You know what you have done Jolene!!!

Donít play dumb with me.

You will get yours in the end but it wonít be because of me. It will be on Godís terms.

And, thank you for giving me such juicy details for my new book about how to kill a small town!!!

Your actions make it so much more exciting. The more crap you guys pull, the better my book gets. People love all the behind the scenes details.

The best thing to do for this person is to not respond period. Let it rant and rave all it wants. She needs to find her way, but feeding her just fuels the fire. She is clearly not qualified to be in any kind of leadership positions anywhere, and to respond to her attacks justifies her existence. Ignore her and hopefully she will go away. This kind of conversations do not help our community but continually set it back. We need no more ignorance than what we have now.

In a way, Mainiac, you are right .... but it's just so much fun! It's also important not to let her rantings go unchallenged, and although I often feel like I am back in 6th grade, I get a certain satisfaction seeing the arrogance and pomposity addressed. It will hopefully also help to keep her from ascending any further in local (or ANY) politics. (also, when she's ignored, she doesn't go away... she actually gets worse).

Mainiac, let Steve, Jolene and Rosie (oops! I mean T, DR, et.al) handle this...they are very good at it.

I would rather see you write something about regionalization and whether you think it could be looked at department by department, or if it should be taken as a whole concept all at once. Now that would be an interesting conversation.
