Just so you guys know, she doesn't really hunt. Her dad and husband do but she couldn't dress a moose if her life depended on it.

no, but he was a cop, and before that a firefighter, and then of course, he joined a union (USR... Union of Santa's Reindeer) where he was foreman. It's no wonder he met his sad end.

And apparently there was no longer any ambulance service (they'd all been "FIRED!!!!!") which might have been able to save him.

well, the firefighters got there, but they weren't allowed to use their EMS equipment. and then they got a ticket from the cops for not wearing their helmets. Rudolph ended up dying a sad and lonely death... TRR will post something tomorrow in condolence.

You guys are hitting the eggnog, right? You've got it all wrong...Palin is actually performing the Christmas reindeer pardon. Rudolph is sadly hanging on the wall in back of the unaware governor.

Re: Tragic news from "up North"

So did all this really happen because Rudolph stole the North Pole's Website??

Let me get this straight-
12 firemen were responding
and
11 were on overtime
of which
10 were already EMT's
but according to the TRR
9 paramedics had been fired
and now
8 local EMT's were unemployed
and at the firehouse
7 EMS jumpkits had been removed
6 of them had oxygen
and it only would have cost
fiiiive thousand dollars
4 more reindeer will likely not be saved
because of
3 incapable supposed leaders of the North Rumford Pole
2 others are good and trying hard
to save
1 reindeer under an apple tree

However, it would cost $90,000.00 annually to run those sleighs and pay for the overtime to cover them when they are out, and the sleighs would then depreciate much more rapidly, and let us not forget the amount of maintenance that would go up along with the out of control consumption of water to clean them. There is just no way that this would be worth saving one useless reindeer. I mean no one would even know Rudolph was missing as there has been no negative impact to the reindeer since July of this year!! However, if you check I think you may find that there has not actually been a full $90,000.00 in savings; In fact I think that area of the budget may be just as red now as Rudolphs nose because maybe Santa did know more about running his operation than people from the land of the misfit island!!

Disclaimer- Any similarities to any persons or places are strictly coincidental and this sad story about Rudolph does not for one minute attempt to resemble anyone or any place that you as a reader may be familiar with.
