Who are the authors?

Post by Z on Sun Feb 13, 2011 11:40 am

Am I missing something, or are there no names claiming authorship of the articles in The River Valley Sun? Who is, or are, making the claims and accusations in those "articles". I have an idea who wrote the story about the dogs, but no name.

Collaboration, Transcripts, Documentation

Post by RiverValleySun on Mon Feb 21, 2011 1:34 pm

We at the RiverValleySun.com would have responded to the many questions posted here much sooner but we had to wait 9 days from submitting our membership here Feb 13 when we where advised of your many questions to today when we finally received notice of activation.

For the most detailed information on "who are the authors," submitting, and authoring on RiverValleySun.com along with Privacy Policy, Copyright, and and other applicable information on the RiverValleySun.com site, see ABOUT and Policies pages on the RiverValleySun.com website. Many "articles" on the site are transcripts of meetings or speeches credited to the parties making the speech or participating in the meeting and therefore do not have a byline. RiverValleySun.com is primarily a NEWS and INFORMATION resource not an interpreter of events or scandal sheet in which an "author" seeks to give only information and utilize that information to influence readers in a certain way. RiverValleySun.com's objective is to provide facts and stimulate discussion among readers including their bringing more data to the table in the form of attachments and links while expressing their opinion. The intention of the "paper" is to remain neutral.

Other articles are collaborative research efforts which again are not appropriately assigned a byline. You will also find many documents supplied by agencies, departments, et cetera printed as we receive them, as such we do not claim credit with a byline.

Letters to the editor and OpEds may be bylined or anonymous under the terms of our Policies.

If you have questions about a specific article or RiverValleySun.com in general it would be more effective to contact the RiverValleySun.com collaborative through the website rather than speculate on an unrelated forum with your questions, we will answer to the best of our ability as quickly as possible. We would also welcome your submissions and participation within the terms of our policies.
